The ancient Greeks called this the realm of the Litai — a class of spirits that are the prayers of mortals, released from the bonds of matter by speech and song, litany and hymn, petition and thanksgiving, oblation and offering, libation and sacrifice. It’s a place where aesthetics and object meet spiritual contemplation, and where soul transforms matter into psychic nourishment. Sometimes all we can do is wait and pray, and make beauty out of our patience.
