On 19 April 2025 at 10:19 pm EDT, the Sun enters Taurus I, which Austin Coppock called "The Plough." Associated with the Three Graces, attendants of Venus in her bathing, it's a season for starting six-month projects, whether growing food or changing your world.

The Sun enters Taurus II tomorrow "the Lingam Yoni" at 4:29 pm EDT on 29 Apr 2024. Associated with the Horae, the spirits of the seasons, it's a time for expressing autonomy and agency. But it's also a season for making small decisions with lasting effects: choose carefully... but also act.

The Sun enters Taurus III The Prayer Beads today at 6:21 pm EDT, on 10 May 2023.

The ancient Greeks called this the realm of the Litai — a class of spirits that are the prayers of mortals, released from the bonds of matter by speech and song, litany and hymn, petition and thanksgiving, oblation and offering, libation and sacrifice. It’s a place where aesthetics and object meet spiritual contemplation, and where soul transforms matter into psychic nourishment. Sometimes all
we can do is wait and pray, and make beauty out of our patience.

The Sun enters Taurus II — *The Lingam-Yoni* — tomorrow 30 April 2023 at 10:35 am EDT.

The Horae, or "hours" are the goddesses that define the process of time passing — one season turning to another, one day turning to another, and one hour turning to another.  Variously defined in Greek myth as twelve sisters, or three, or six, they're responsible for the gradual passage of time.  How do you make use of the passage of time, and how do you mark the slow, small changes that gradually turn minutes into hours, and hours into days, and days into years?

The Sun enters Taurus I early on April 20, 2022, at 4:14 am EDT. Named “the plough,” it’s associated with the goddess Charis in Greek myth — Hephaestus’s second wife, and chief of Aphrodite’s attendants. When the fire of new relationships burn to coals, how is love’s heat maintained? When lovers change shapes and faces and even names… does the way we love remain the same?

The Sun enters Taurus III — "the Prayer Beads" at 12:25 pm EDT as the Sun appraoches the Midheaven and ‘seats’ itself to meditate or contemplate its intention to darken the Moon in the eclipse on May 16. The nature of the third decan of Taurus is challenging — Taurus in general is about aesthetics and beauty, materialism and luxury, delicacy and fashion.  Yet Saturn’s administration puts forward minimalism and ascetic aesthetics — the plain geometry of an ogival arch, the gravid rigidity of a loop of plain beads dangling from a thumb and forefinger: orthodoxy and orthopraxy go hand-in-hand in the third decan as we pray away our discontents… but our discontents always return.

Time for another astrology column, the Sun enters Taurus I tonight at 10:24 pm EDT — the goddess Charis, or charity, rules the next ten days.  She's the goddess who does an extra load of laundry, or washes the dishes, or even cooks the meal and takes care of the kids in the moment that the rest of your life tumbles down.  She's the forbearance you feel when you watch your spouse make a serious mistake and correct their error - you don't need to correct them or critique them right there, you need to step in and help. All of us are going to be making mistakes, needing help, and being in a position to offer that help.  Do your part.   https://andrewbwatt.com/2022/04/19/sun-in-taurus-i-charis/
