Poem: THE GLORIOUS DAY & appeal

Back in 2022, I composed a poem in hexameter, in the high burlesque style. What that means is that it's a heroic meter, intentionally mimicking texts like The Aeneid, the Odyssey, and the Iliad. But, it's about a mundane subject, in this case a major yard sale at the house of a retired artist. And — Shit. Goes. Down.
I didn't invent the story. An artist and raconteur who goes by the Tumblr handle Gallorostromegalus told the story initially. I wrote it into a poem.
Now, Gallorostromegalus has a significant bill to pay, to deal with a main-line sewage leak into their house.
So the appeal is... read the poem. If you enjoy it, send a few dollars to the appeal on their behalf.
